Musical Theater Performance Master Class

Spend a week immersed in the rehearsal process as you strengthen your musical theater performance skills alongside a company of fellow performers ages 16 and up. This intensive is designed for actors and singers who want dedicated time to rehearse, collaborate, and create meaningful performances through acting, singing, movement, and ensemble storytelling.

Led by experienced teaching artists and working entertainment professionals at the Los Angeles Community of Acting & Entertainment (LACAE), students work in a supportive, professional rehearsal environment while developing solo, duet, and ensemble musical theater numbers. Coaching focuses on vocal performance, song interpretation, character development, stage presence, and authentic storytelling through music.

Throughout the week, students will:
• Rehearse solo, duet, and ensemble musical theater numbers.
• Strengthen vocal performance through character-driven storytelling.
• Explore staging, movement, and ensemble collaboration.
• Build confidence performing both individually and as part of a company.
• Receive coaching from experienced musical theater professionals.
• Present their work in a live showcase for family, friends, and the community.

Open to performers ages 16+, this intensive welcomes both dedicated teens and adults who are looking for focused musical theater training in a collaborative, professionally supervised environment.
