“Spirit of Play: Craft and Imagination,” now showing at the Craft in America Center in West Hollywood, provides the perfect family activity that can delight, entertain and educate, with free admission!

It features whimsical, multi-colored animals made of waste plastic; perfect, teensy-tiny replicas of renown historical furniture and playfully layered assemblage works loaded with symbols about Black culture; plus a rainbow of exquisite paper balloon pots and a giant colorful piñata!

This exhibition celebrates the power of imagination, big ideas, craft ingenuity, and the child in all of us. It spotlights the work of several artists featured in the 2023 episodes in Craft in America’s PBS documentary series, PLAY and MINIATURES.

The exhibition is free and open to the public.

Hours: Tuesday–Saturday, noon-6:00pm
